Nearly one in ten people worldwide have no access to clean water. For many, getting any water at all means walking long distances to draw from contaminated sources. In the hands of Global Partners in Peace and Development, $2,500 will dig a well in India or Uganda, providing fresh, clean water to an entire village.
Our team has challenged ourselves to raise $100 for each of the twenty-six miles of the Harrisburg Marathon. We'll be running in a relay of four legs.
