Running and helping people are two of my favorite things to do. I met Kyle (our lead for Running Water) a few years ago during church at CEFC. He recognized my husband and I from the Harrisburg marathon and told us about the group that he was running with.

Fast forward to this year, when I received an email from Kyle inviting me to help raise money for the organization. The first thing that came to mind was "No, I'm already signed up for the full marathon. Raising money is hard!" But after talking to Kyle and hearing how Running Water for Living Water has helped bring clean, safe, drinkable water to so many, I knew I had to be apart of the team.

For whatever reason, God has given me the ability to run long distances. Sitting in church that morning after hearing Kyle speak about his experiences convicted me. God was telling me to move! I must obey. On Sunday, November 13th, I will be covering the entire marathon distance. (26.2 miles) I felt like going big with my goal. $100 for each mile, for 26  miles will be enough to cover the cost of one well. Will you join me in doing God's work? It can be through donation, pray or a letter of encouragement.
