Supporting: Running Water for the Living Water - 2022 for Global Partners in Peace and Development
My Team: Creating for the Creator
I am so excited to be able to run again with the Running Water for the Living Water team this year! I have run with the team the past 3 years in Harrisburg, PA and also in Lynchburg, VA last year. I believe that God has given me a passion for running as well as for missions and I think it is so incredible that I can combine both those passions together with this team to be a part of God's work around the world.
I have seen firsthand through several experiences I have had these past few years the wonderful opportunity that working to provide clean water to communities has to be a part of drawing people to Christ, the Living Water. Through hearing the stories of the well dedications and projects that this team has been a part of supporting as well as working with a water ministry in Ecuador this past summer, I have seen the great needs for clean water and for Christ around the world. And so, I am so excited to again be a part of this team to help support the meeting of these needs!
This year I will be running with the team in the full half marathon in Salem, VA on October 8 as well as on a relay team from Liberty University in the Harrisburg Marathon on November 13. A portion of the funds raised by my relay team and I will also be going to support a project we are involved in together in Uganda with GPPD and the Liberty University Engineering Missions and Research club (EMRC). Our project is to develop an underground water detection system for the GPPD Uganda team to use to drill their wells more effectively. I have been a part of leading this project over the past year and am so excited to run to support it!
I would love for you to joing us and to be a part of this work through prayer and financial support for the team, as you feel led to give, and to see what God will do this year. May God bless you all out of His abundant grace!
Sincerely by God's grace,
